I recently had a run-in with a real estate broker, and I really was interested in the business, so I decided right around Thanksgiving to get my Real Estate License. Well, my plan was ready, and I started studying for the exam; I took that and passed very easily, actually. After the holidays, I got fingerprinted again. I am on my tenth round of fingerprinting. I can’t believe that the government does not have an accessible database and that you must pay repeatedly to get them done.
I can’t say enough good things about 360training. I used them to take all of the required classes and then for the test prep as well. Right before I took the test, I was told by a brilliant commercial broker that I should do a test prep course separate from them, so I did the Kaplan test prep, and it was great.
So now I have a domain and license in the works and am looking for a broker in Houston. I want to work. I am looking forward to building up a portfolio of property and doing investments as well as sales.
