Aperol Spritz Official Recipe

Approved by my amazing wife Laila

Ingredients

Around the holidays, it is fun to prepare a nice drink, especially while cooking for the family. This is a go-to for my wife. She enjoys it; I occasionally like one as well. It is very refreshing and really easy to drink.

  • 3 parts of Prosecco “D.O.C.G.” This means white wine produced in a large area spanning nine provinces in the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions, and named after the village of Prosecco, which is in the province of Trieste, Italy. This is normally good enough to drink on its own but the Aperol takes it up a level.
  • 2 parts of Aperol
  • 1 splash of soda — you have to use Fever-Tree
  • 1 slice of orange

Super Easy Prep… keep the ice!

  1. Place ice cubes in a stemmed balloon glass.
  2. Pour 3 parts of Prosecco
  3. Follow by pouring 2 parts of Aperol, and 1 ounce of soda.
  4. Slice an orange and use it as a garnish.
